"The Battle for Women to Be Included In Peace Talks Rages On":

For the purposes of – I don’t know – bathos, irony or just plain rubbing it in, the timing couldn’t have been better. Last month marked 15 years since the United Nations issued a much-cheered resolution calling for women to be more involved at the decision-making level of conflict resolution. And, at the end of last month, desperately needed talks to try and stop the nightmare war in Syria were convened in Vienna. The official photo from Vienna doesn’t feature a single female face at the negotiating table. So, UN: how’s that resolution working out?
