Alabama native Candice Storey Lee has been promoted to vice chancellor for athletics and university affairs and athletic director at Vanderbilt after serving as interim AD since February.
Lee, a graduate of Madison’s Bob Jones High School and a former Vanderbilt basketball player, becomes the first full-time female athletics director in SEC history. She is also one of only five female ADs among Power 5 schools.
