#WhoTalks Daily | Fox & Friends Underrepresented Women October 3–7, #Election2016

In these final weeks before the 2016 presidential election, GenderAvenger's Who Talks? project is continuing to tally the number of women pundits featured on the top-rated cable news shows. As the election heats up over the last six weeks, we are releasing daily infographics that reveal how women are included (or not) in the political conversation.

TODAY: Let Fox & Friends know that featuring only 24% women commentators from October 3–7 is not good enough.

What is Who Talks?

Who Talks? monitors the top-rated morning and evening shows on three major television news networks: CNN, FOX, and MSNBC. Any guest who is not the host (or substitute host) and is asked to comment substantively on the 2016 presidential election is counted as an analyst. We count the total number of election analysts of each gender in each show and then compare aggregate numbers and proportional representation. Data is published monthly.
