#HallofShame | MSNBC Needs to Step It Up!
Who Talks? tracked the gender breakdown of analysts during the hour immediately following the second presidential debate. Two of the three networks did really well with gender balances over the 40% mark. Only MSNBC proved to be a letdown, featuring appearances by only 4 women commentators out of 18.
At this stage in the game, 22% is inexcusable. The debate featured a woman as a nominee and moderator, and women commentators on even the most surprising networks. It looks as if MSNBC needs a personalized reminder. Help us call them out and ask for improvement!
