UNICEF has received EDGE Certification, becoming the first United Nations agency to earn the leading global assessment methodology and business certification standard for gender equality.
“Advancing gender equality and the rights of women and girls is at the core of what we do at UNICEF,” said UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta H. Fore. “To be the leading organization for the rights of all children and young people, including young women and girls, we have to lead by example.”
