In 2017, the same query would return a different image reported the New York Times: an image of a strong woman hiking solo in Banff National Park.

The stock images may just be pictures, but they speak volumes about how brands see women (less as stereotypical sex objects, more as mountain-conquering forces of nature) and conversation on gender parity that's challenging industries.
