Hall of Shame | The Nantucket Project

The Nantucket Project is an annual event that brings together "a select group of eminent and accomplished visionaries, thinkers, innovators and performers." For an event that states "…for us to move forward as a country and as a civilized planet we must first determine, with an honest and unflinching eye, the truth or the reality of our situation," it is surprising how little they have factored the importance of diversity into this lens they are creating.

It appears that they think the majority of thoughts on values belong to men, because this year's event features only 15 women speakers among 51 men. 23% women speakers does not reflect the truth or reality of our situation. The Nantucket Project can do better.
