Action Alert | Help Us Tally the Democratic Debate Coverage and You Could Win Big*

Debate season officially begins tonight with the first of two debates between 20 Democratic presidential candidates. A lot of attention has already been paid to who will be moderating and analyzing the debates, which we've also covered, but now we want to take it a step further. During both nights of debates, members of the GenderAvenger team will use the GA Tally app to keep tabs on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox commentary immediately following the debates and on the next days’ morning shows. We’ll be counting not only who is there but also who does most of the talking, because we know full well that, even when women have a place at the table, the conversation is usually dominated by men.

The power of counting is that it demands accountability, and GenderAvenger has an app for that so we can all ensure that women's voices have an equal place in public dialog. That's where you come in.

Help us count the Democratic presidential debates commentary!

We’re looking for people to watch the Sunday morning political programs and tally up who they see and hear, either during the roundtable discussions or just during debate conversation. How many men and women are on the expert panels? Who is doing most of the talking? The first five people to submit a Sunday show GA Tally will receive a free GenderAvenger mug. All you have to do is create the tally, share it on social, and email the link to info@genderavenger.com.

Together, we can make sure women's voices count.
